Invest in Chicago Real Estate

Under IRS guidelines, you are permitted to use a self-directed IRA to invest in real estate, but doing so is not as simple as it may seem, nor is it entirely advisable according to an article at the askthemoneycoach.com

Some self-directed IRA’s are often called “checkbook IRA’s” because under a specific process, one can get money from their IRA deposited into their checking account and access the money for investment purposes.

You may invest in single or multi-family real estate. You may even invest in REITS (Real Estate Investment Trusts). Be sure to speak to your tax accountant before investing.
